WinISO uses Windows built-in IMAPI to burn discs. The IMAPI provides three levels of verification: none, quick and full.
The full verification reads and compares entire disc, but the quick verification only reads a small set of disc sectors. For more details, see IMAPI_BURN_VERIFICATION_LEVEL on MSDN.
WinISO sets the 'quick verification' as default, so the verification only takes a very short time. WinISO will set the 'full verification' as default from WinISO v6.4.
Verification Check-box | Unchecked | Checked |
---|---|---|
WinISO 6.3 and earlier | No Verification | Quick Verification |
WinISO 6.4 and later | Quick Verification | Full Verification |
